Steps to Our Approach
Our bioidentical hormone replacement therapy program follows specific steps:
Initial consultation to complete a comprehensive patient assessment with our team. The health evaluation will include all pertinent background information relating to hormones and a detailed list of your symptoms. Baseline hormone levels will be obtained to determine exactly where you are having deficient or excess hormones. These labs are critical because symptoms of different hormone imbalances can overlap with each other. There is no one set of symptoms that definitively diagnoses a hormone imbalance.
Dr. Prado Wright will determine which hormones need to be replaced. You will determine which route you would prefer to take your hormone in (pills, injections, or creams). After following your prescribed treatment regimen for 3-6 months, follow-up labs will be drawn. We will adjust your dose as needed based on your symptoms and lab results.
Once your symptoms of hormone imbalance have been treated and you are on a stable dose, we will check you once a year to make sure you continue on the right treatment plan.
